‘Wish Tank’ 2020
Wish Tank is a high concept comedy about the life of Stanley, a man who translates his outlandish imagination through a multitude of ‘wishes’, the film explores these wishes through a variety of different set-ups and practicalities, creating a work which appears experimental yet relatable.
I created this short film as a project to celebrate the festive season, I wanted to think outside of the box with this and create something fun and engaging both for audience members, and myself as the creator. I used stop motion animation technique to achieve the movement in this film, using a range of synthetic and natural lighting, around a mixture of different backdrops and settings on the campus of the University. I found the editing process incredibly rewarding, and slightly challenging which I welcomed as a creative.
‘Staff Induction’ 2020
I created this short promotional video for new members of staff joining the University, I was given somewhat of a brief to interview various members of senior management, however I took creative freedom in the format, style and production format that the video eventually took. I wanted there to be an emphasis on welcomeness and friendliness as it was for new people, whom had never before stepped foot on the University grounds. I feel the mix of footage of people, and also the campus grounds create a feeling for the community at the University, but also attempt to get across the physicality of the spaces and teaching areas at the campus, and in the local area of Canary Wharf.
I currently have been working in the post of Video Content Producer at the University of Sunderland in London since August 2019, as well as this, I am also a practising freelance artist. My practice takes me from bespoke video production with the University for advertisements, events and promotional material, to working with various companies and businesses to produce high quality audiovisual content. My work consists ofa mix of practical shooting, and also a large proportion of video and photo editing. In my spare time I work on short films as a camera assistant and operator. My time studying film and TV production at Goldsmiths, University of London has provided me with invaluable knowledge and experience in varying production environments and has given me the confidence to be able to use my skills elsewhere.
I also use photography outside of a working environment to develop and grow, I find taking and editing stills helpful in drawing inspiration for moving images.

RED, Black Magic, Canon, Sony, Nikon, Lumix
